last cache was muggled, replaced and swapped out the container type.
I grew up nearby and my school was part of the early efforts to help rehabilitate Piper's Creek s in the early 80s, a creek that hadn't been able to sustain natural salmon runs since late 1920s. Now my own children, in their local school, continue to participate in the program and every fall we come visit to see the salmon traveling up the creek to spawn.
This cache is about a half mile walk up a well marked trail from the large lot in front of a big field (the lot to the left at the juncture to the beach lot/play area) or about a half mile down from the entrance behind QFC (aka Art's for those who lived here in the 80s-90s).
Congrats to co FTF ers: Lagrouvin and - DM&K Cachers!!
