Bates Cemetery: All Cemeteries Need A Cache
One of our favorite parts of geocaching is finding caches in cemeteries. There are many cemeteries in Ashtabula County and all of them have stories to tell.
This cache is placed in the Bates Cemetery located in Saybrook Township. It is also known as Munson Hill Cemetery. It is a hidden cemetery requiring a climb up a small hill to reach. Dawn to Dusk caching only. Please be respectful of the surroundings while searching. The cache is not directly by any graves.
Parking for this cache is on the side of a busy road. Please use care.
The oldest grave in the cemetery belongs to Moses Simonds, who passed in 1828.

*This cache has room for trades. The FTF may take their pick of or all of the cache containers stashed inside the cache. The log is inside of the top section.
