American Legion Post 160 developed Legion Park, and gave it to the village in 1996. It was once home to the first Brooklyn School, which burned down in 1893. Follow the path to find a place where you can dig up history in 50 years. The path ends where the original school had been located.

At every Site on the Tour you will be asked to identify a Special Word.
1. Write down the Special Word for each Site.
2. When you have found all of the caches on the Brooklyn 1905 Tour, submit your completed list to the Brooklyn Area Chamber of Commerce, brooklynareachamber@gmail.com to get your Reward. You can submit your answers in person( call ahead to Village Clerk's Office) or by mail (be sure to include your name and return address):
