[Adventure Lab] Sonnengesang - Laudatu si mi Signore

 

Jeden Vers des Sonnengesangs beginnt der Heilige Franz von Assisi mit den Worten: "Laudatu si mi Signore - Sei gelobt, mein Herr."
Die Holztafeln entlang des Franziskusweges laden ein, in dieses Lob einzustimmen: schweigend, betend oder singend.
Der Sonnengesang ist wohl die großartigste Hymne einer in Ehrfurcht bejahten Schöpfung.
Die acht Strophen sind eingebettet zwischen der Einleitungsstrophe und dem Schlussvers, die beide das Lob Gottes künden.

Das τ (tau) begleitet auf dem Franziskusweg den Pilger als ständige Wegmarkierung.
In besonderer Weise erinnert dieses Symbol an das Kreuz Christi in seiner ursprünglichen Form.

Each verse of the Canticle of the Sun begins with the words: "Laudatu si mi Signore - Be praised, my Lord."
The wooden panels along the Franziskusweg invite you to join in this praise: in silence, praying or singing.
The Canticle of the Sun is probably the greatest hymn of a reverently affirmed creation.
The eight verses are embedded between the introductory verse and the final verse, both announcing the praise of God.

The sign τ (tau) accompanies the pilgrim on the Franciscan Way as a permanent marker.
This symbol is particularly reminiscent of the cross of Christ in its original form.
