Since my brother and I are in scouts, we thought it would be fun to create some caches with a scout theme.
This cache is not trying to promote a specific type of scouting program. Nor am I trying to suggest one ideal or system of programs are better than another (either scouting or otherwise). The location and the container have nothing to do with scouts. So pursue this cache at your own discretion.
Scouting is for both girls and boys. Regardless of what a scout believes, how they self-identify, what their orientation, or even their preferred gender pronoun, or any other aspect of what makes them unique as individuals, one aspect of scouting is an encouragement towards being responsible.
within scouting there is the idea of Merit Badges...
Merit Badges are awards earned by scouts based on activities around 120 different areas of knowledge and skills. The merit badge program plays a major role in the scouting advancement program and participation can begin as soon as a scout registers with a troop. Each scout can explore topics from American Business to Woodworking as they have interest. The only limitations are their ambition and availability of adult merit badge counselors to offer instruction.
Sign the logbook which is in a small container under a lightpole in the parking lot. Good luck and have fun.
