WALKING THE PINCIO
The Pincio hill was outside the original boundaries of the ancient city of Rome and was not one of the seven hills, but is located within the walls built by the Roman emperor Aureliano between 270 and 273. It is a high hill 61 m asl, which, seen from the Campo Marzio district, is located north of the Quirinale and can be defined as one of the most beautiful places in the capital.
Taking a short walk along the avenues of the Pincio makes us discover the beauty of Rome's parks and gardens with its architectural wonders, its fountains and even the applied technology. The water clock is a jewel of hydraulic engineering surrounded by greenery.
While the fountains make our journey pleasant, the viewpoint of the Terrace takes us to wander and scan the city from above in search of monuments and famous places.

Passeggiata al Pincio
La collina del Pincio era al di fuori dei confini originali dell'antica città di Roma e non era uno dei sette colli, ma si trova all'interno delle mura costruite dall'imperatore romano Aureliano tra il 270 e il 273. È un colle alto 61 m s.l.m., che, visto dal rione Campo Marzio, si trova a nord del Quirinale e può essere definito uno dei posti più belli della Capitale.
Fare una breve passeggiata lungo i viali del Pincio ci fa scoprire la bellezza dei parchi e dei giardini di Roma con le sue meraviglie architettoniche, le sue fontane e anche la tecnologia applicata. L'orologio ad acqua è un gioiello di ingegneria idraulica immerso nel verde.
Mentre le fontane rendono ameno il nostro cammino, il belvedere della Terrazza ci porta a spaziare e scrutare la città dall'alto alla ricerca di monumenti e luoghi famosi.
