Going by the plaque located here this small park was established to celebrate the centennial of the Borough of St Kilda 1875-1975. The park is wheelchair accessible but the hide is not. There are a few benches to sit on and some small gardens but I wouldn't linger below the curved wall that is slowly being pushed by the cabbage tree.
