BT2020 A hippy kind of cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GR8Caches: Time to refresh the trail, stand by for a possible new hide, near this location! A little about this cache (may it rest in peace or maybe be used again someday): The cache lasted 1,820 days, with 152 finds ( 0.08 finds per day ), 1 DNF, 4 Owner maintenance ( 80% per year ). With 4 favorite points ( 4% FAVS ). The cache was a hippopotamus with a tube for the log glued in place on the underside of the guy. The lids are snaping off so I need a different type of tube if I was to bring it back... Thanks to all who visited and to those that gave us favorite points.

Geocache Description:

Back in the 1960s when I was way too young to remember there was a movement in the US. Hippies were everywhere and they were going to bring the US to it's end. The peace sign was a big part of being a hippie. I hope this hippie cache brings you some peace.

Hippie:
A hippie is a member of the counterculture of the 1960s, originally a youth movement that began in the United States during the mid-1960s and spread to other countries around the world.

I don't want to give away this cache so I won't tell you any more about it. Just look at the base of the pole. The log is small but the hide is about the size of a fist.

Remember you must sign the log. No pen no win. Happy caching!

ABOUT THE TRAIL:
There are generally about 50 caches along the trail. This is no power trail as many of the hides are different in type, size, difficulty and terrain. If you want to know where to park or get food or a bathroom along the trail you need to check out GC4Q1H2 (Bike Trail - Welcome to the Trail). It is loaded with valuable information. I have chosen to list it all on one cache only to help in maintaining it and not loading you up with the same way points over and over again. There is also a bookmark list that has all the caches along the trial listed.
