Well, LS is almost there. L O S T - S O U L hit 30,000 geocache finds when I first started to hide this cache. He was on a streak and I figured he could use a local cache. By the time I was ready to publish, LS was on an extended geocaching adventure so I figured I would wait for his return... So today I resumed placement. I checked his stats today and LS is at 47,574 caches found. Find 50K is right around the corner.
About L O S T - S O U L: He has a distinctive signature on cache logs. Bold letters, black ink. Easy to spot as he almost always signs a log before I get to them. He's an expert at finding those hard to find caches. A super sleuth with an eagle eye.
If you like to get out in the great outdoors and see cool spots, check out his hides. Lots of interesting nature areas and surprises too. One of my first LS caches was near a medical facility. I saw the cache was just a couple hundred feet from the parking lot. I got out to the cache site and found I was totally unprepared. Summer sun dress, lightweight sandals. This was not a LPC but an adventure. I came back to grab my 😁. His hides styles are an worth the trip themselves. I was out with several others on a LS cache find and we were in stitches as we moved along the trail of clues. We laughed all day about that one. It was really fun.
