Far from an avid reader, whenever I noticed this little local gem while out for a walk or on my way home, I always appreciated the sight of this little library. Now anyone who, like me, prefers to geocache rather than read can still make use of this tiny exchange!
Stage One
The little library itself has a sign on both sides. How many lines of text are there? Let this be A. How many times is the word "book" mentioned? Let this be B. How many words total on the sign? Let this be C.
Final location
To find the final cache, use A, B, and C from stage one to solve these coordinates. N53 23.(A+A+B)00 W006 7.(A+B)(C-B-B)0
For those of you living local, it is worth pointing out that the Big Library in this cache now operates the My Open Library program, where library members can sign up for extended access hours for the library when it is not staffed, including days the library usually isn't open such as Sundays or Bank Holidays. I recently signed up for this service and I strongly recommend it to others, as it has made the local library far more accessible to be in my busy little life.
If you happen to see the library owner, be friendly and say thanks! She has very generously allowed me to direct people to her front wall for caching. Please ensure the cache is firmly sealed shut and securely replaced, thank you!
