Geocache Description:

It is no secret that Square Montgomery was named after British Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, 1st Viscount of Alamein a.k.a. Monty.

You must also have spotted his big black bronze statue standing majestically on the eastern bound of the roundabout.

Did you know that there were (at least) 3 other statues of F.M. Montgomery in Europe?

Its exact doppelgänger is in London, a similar statue is in Coleville (FR) and another one in Portsmouth (UK).

As it's a letterbox, the cache contains a non-exchangeable stamp. Please leave it there.
