Danny Rand is a Marvel hero, who learnt martial arts in the mystical city of K'un-L'un. Defeating the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying in combat, he plunged his fists into the dragon's molten heart and received the gifts, powers and title of the Iron Fist. Returning to his home in New York he became a superhero (as one does) and has since enjoyed many adventures, mostly in partnership with Luke Cage, Power Man, and in recent years he became a member of Captain America's New Avengers.
