Dit is de Bonus cache behorende bij de
Adventure Labcache "Grensoverschrijdend"
Bezoek het enige drielandenpunt van Nederland, een werkelijk magisch punt op de kaart. Dit hoogste punt van het huidige Nederland lag in de afgelopen eeuwen op tenminste zeven verschillende grenzen, waarvan nu nog steeds markeringen in het landschap te vinden zijn.
Om deze AL te kunnen spelen moet je eerst de speciale app op je smartphone installeren. Open daarna met deze link onze Adventure Labcache in de app op je mobiele telefoon. Uiteraard is er voor de app onderweg verbinding met internet vereist. Ter plaatse is overal voldoende afdekking door de netwerken van de telecom aanbieders in de drie landen.
Let op: de wandeling gaat gedeeltelijk door gebied van Staatsbosbeheer, waarvoor toestemming verleend is en wij Staatsbosbeer zeer erkentelijk zijn. Blijf altijd op de paden en volg de algemene aanwijzingen die voor dit gebied gelden en probeer indien mogelijk onderweg de door anderen achtergelaten troep op te ruimen en bij het drielandenpunt in één van de containers te doen.
Bovenstaande coordinaat is tevens het beginpunt van de Adventure Lab en de cachemobiel kun je hier ook parkeren. De route is uitdrukkelijk bedoeld om te wandelen. Slechts een deel van ongeveer 200m tussen stages 2) en 3) is wat slechter begaanbaar en niet aan te raden voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Overigens is de volgorde van de vijf locaties niet vastgelegd, maar wordt wel aanbevolen om de nummering en de aanwijzingen in de adventure te volgen. Je hoeft de paden nergens te verlaten!
Om de locatie van de cache-container te kunnen bepalen, moet je de 5 punten van de Adventure Labcache bezocht hebben en de vragen in de app beantwoorden om de waarden voor letters in de formule te verkrijgen. Je kunt zelf bepalen in welke volgorde je de vijf locatie's wilt bezoeken, zodat je deze cache goed met andere caches in dit gebied kunt combineren.
Als je een leuke rondwandeling van ongeveer 5km wilt maken, kun je de voorgestelde volgorde met behulp van de nummering in de locatie-namen aanhouden. Na voltooing van de Adventure Labcache zijn alle bonusletters allemaal in de dagboekvermeldingen terug te vinden.
In de laatste vier eeuwen liepen er vele grenzen door dit mooie gebied, waar je bij helder weer ook heerlijk van enkele adembenemende vergezichten kunt genieten. Tijdens een rondwandeling van ongeveer 5 km voeren wij je langs goed zichtbare grensstenen van maar liefst zeven verschillende grenzen en beschrijven het stukje geschiedenis erachter. Deels in het nederlands en deels in het engels. Soms vullen deze teksten elkaar aan. Ook zijn er een aantal plaatjes met verdere uitleg toegevoegd. De filmpjes op youtube waarnaar in de Adventure Lab wordt verwezen zijn publiek beschikbaar en hebben verder geen link met de CO of met de cache. Zij geven wat extra beelden en uitleg bij de informatie in de cache. Het is echter absoluut niet noodzakelijk om deze te bekijken om de cache te kunnen lopen of om de vragen te kunnen beantwoorden! Ze zijn vooral bedoeld om je vooraf een indruk te geven van dit gebied, mocht je hier nog niet bekend zijn...
Tip: door in de app op je smartphone de graphics even kort aan te raken, worden ze in hun volle glorie weergegeven, wat soms handig is om wat extra informatie beter te kunnen zien.

This is the Bonus cache belonging to the
Adventure Lab cache "Crossing Borders"
Please make sure you have the special app installed on your smartphone. Open our Adventure Lab in the app on your mobile phone via this link. Of course, the app requires an internet connection while on the go. There is sufficient coverage everywhere by the networks of the telecom providers in the three countries. By briefly touching any graphic in the app on your smartphone, graphics are displayed in their full glory, which is sometimes useful to see some additionally provided information better.
Please note: the walk partially passes through the area of the Forestry Commission (Staatsbosbeheer), for which permission has been granted. Always stay on the paths and follow the general directions that apply to this area and try to take some litter left behind and put it in one of the trashbins located at the parkinglots or at different locations near the actual tripoint.
The above coordinate is also the starting point of the Adventure Lab and your car can be parked here as well. The route is perfectly suitable for a nice and easy hike with great views. Only a part of about 200m between stages 2) and 3) is less passable and is not recommended for people with walking difficulties. We chose not to determine for you in what sequence to visit the five locations, however for the best experience it is recommended to follow the numbering and directions in the adventure. You may want to consider combining this cache with other caches and Adventure Labs present in this beautiful area.
In the last four centuries, many borders ran through this beautiful area, where you can also enjoy some breathtaking views when the weather is clear enough. During a round trip of approx. 5 km we take you along clearly visible border stones of no less than seven different borders and describe the piece of history behind it. Partly in Dutch and partly in English. Sometimes these texts complement each other. A number of pictures with further explanation have also been added. The videos on youtube referred to in the Adventure Lab are publicly available and have no further link with the CO or with the cache. They only provide some additional images and explanation of the information in the cache. They are mainly intended to give you an impression of this area in advance, if you are not already familiar here ... However, it is absolutely not necessary to view them in order to run the cache or answer the questions!
After correctly answering the question in the Adventure Lab App, you will receive a bonus letter, which must be entered in the formula below to obtain the end location of this mystery cache. Even when completing the Adventure Lab, these letters are still available in the five diary entries in the App to view the Lab cache.
