Diprotodon meaning “two forward teeth” is the largest known marsupial to have ever lived. It belongs to a group of species known as the Australian Megafauna. The Diprotodon lived in Australia between 1.6 million and 45,000 years ago, with fossils of the animal found within the Eulo area.
