Geocache Description:

The cache is a soda bottle preform hanging out next to the Chestnut Trail in Long Ridge OSP. (At the time of the hide, it would be the only cache on this trail). I saw no chestnut trees anywhere along this trail, but I know that if you continue on to the north from here, the trail (who's name changes to Ridge Trail) will eventually pass by a chestnut farm, so I imagine that's where the trail name comes from. (This trail name reappears again on the other side of the farm).

I passed this spot earlier this year and thought it would make a nice hide spot. On my recent trip I had a container in my pack and decided to make it official.

The cache is only a few steps off the trail, and accessible from flat ground. There is no need to bushwhack.
