The Old School, now the village hall, is a Grade II listed building, achieving the status on 13 May 1986.
The building was originally constructed in 1840 with later C19th additions.
The village still has a school, now being off the main road, safely tucked down a side street.

THE CACHE
At the front of the hall, next to the notice board is a telegraph pole. Look at the white ticket at the base. Above the date is a string of numbers. These are ABCDEFGHJ.
