Geocache Description:

Village Hall, Hockerton

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.
For details and statistics about the Village Hall Series please visit Village Hall Series website.

Hockerton village hall was originally the village school, with the date stone above the door which reads 'SCHOOL 1843'. The building stood empty for many years before being converted into the village hall. It also has the village letter box on the outside wall, one of three Victorian wall  boxes in the NG25 postcode area.
