Being nocturnal means being mostly awake and active at night. This is common among many animals and it is a way to avoid heat as well as potential predators.
Owls are also nocturnal and they hunt mainly at night. They have excellent hearing and eyesight, which gives them a big advantage over their prey.
The term night owl, is given to a person who tends to stay up until very late at night, or even till the early hours of the morning.
Usually, people who are night owls stay awake long past midnight, and extreme night owls may stay awake until just before or even till after dawn. Night owls tend to feel most energetic just before they go to sleep at night or early morning. New research even suggests that night owls are more likely to be creative thinkers and being one might just help you find this cache more easily...
