Portrane is a lovely little village north of Dublin. It is located right at the coast. You can spend hours walking along Portrane beach and continuing to the cliff walk and Donabate beach south of Portrane.
The cliff walk is only about 2 km long and it takes only ca. 20 minutes from the northern car park until you arrive at Donabate beach. You have some amazing views to Lambay and Howth. On good clear days you can even see the Poolbeg towers in the distance and even the Dublin Mountains.
This cache is placed at the cliff walk next to a lovely small beach. You can continue from there to Donabate beach or to Portrane Demense.
