The present Cannock Wood & Gentleshaw Village Hall was built in 1967 to replace the old wooden hut which had previously been used as a village hall and was situated behind Gentleshaw Primary School. The Hall plays host to many village organisations including Womens Institute, Floral Art Club, Rainbows Brownies and Guides, Gardening Club, Whist Club, Toddle & Tumble and others. It also has a room with two full sized snooker tables The Hall has an active management committee who are keen to promote various events in the hall, not only to raise funds for the upkeep of the hall, but also to provide family entertainment for local people. These include dances, games evenings, quizzes and much more.
