The Thames Valley Trail stretches for 110 km from its southern terminus on Southdel Drive at the Elgin Trail north terminus, to its northern terminus in St. Marys at the Avon Trail west terminus. This series of caches follows the off-road trail portions of the Thames Valley Trail (TVT) and are named for various fictional characters of the Star Trek universe.
Quark is Ferengi, and the eponymous tavern owner on the space station Deep Space Nine, located next to the wormhole and the planet Bajor.
The cache is a small-sized container in a trailside bush.
