TheCoddiwompler: We have been contacted by a Senior Ranger from Auckland Council regarding geocaches in this area. This cache is placed in an ecologically sensitive area and not on a formal walking track and we have been requested to have this geocache archived. Please retrieve the geocache container as soon as possible.

This cache is placed on forgotten trail in Tāwharanui

Track is not maintained anymore but was "OK" when cache was placed.

Entry and exit are provided as separate waypoints. 

Please be aware of the bait stations.

Try to follow trappers markers on the trees.
