This is the Bonus Cache for the Tree Spotting in Churchdown Village Adventure Lab Cache.
There is no physical cache at the header coordinates, but the location has always intrigued me as there is absolutely no reason for this bench to be here at all - or so I thought. After setting up the locations for my Adventure Lab cache I thought this would make a great GZ for the bonus, but sadly it is just too close to another cache. However, from here you get a fantastic view of one final type of tree to spot - so where better to lead cachers to sit and do their working out!
From this bench you get a great view of a row of Black Poplar trees. The Populus nigra subsp. Betulifolia grows to 30 m and can live for 200 years. It has heart shaped leaves and bears catkins in the spring. Being ‘dioecious’, individual trees have only either male (red) or yellow green (female) catkins. Black Poplars prefer damp ground, and these specimens follow the line of the local brook. In winter you can see that they host many mistletoe plants.
To find the Bonus Cache you will need to complete the Adventure Lab Cache to get the values of A to E. As you answer each question a letter will be revealed. These can then be used to work out the final coordinates:-

Please use stealth as the GZ is pretty busy. You can take the cache away from GZ to bench at header coordinsates and return afterwards.
