Geocache Description:

This bonus cache is NOT located at posted coordinates.

The posted coordintes area very close to one of the Lincoln Highway markers and marks a stop of Lincoln Highway- Fairfield/Vacaville, CA Adventure Lab, one of few Lincoln Highway series Adventure Labs in California.

You will receive coordinates to this bonus cache as you complete the steps of the associated Lab Adventure. The Adventure Lab does not need to be done in any particular order, just make note of all letters and associated numbers.

The Lincoln Highway was the first transcontinental road for automobiles in the United States.  It was established in 1913, spanning 3,389 miles, from Times Square in New York City to Lincoln Park in San Francisco.  In California, portions of Interstate 80, most of U.S. Route 50 and most of old U.S. Route 40 are part of the Lincoln Highway.  In Fairfield and Vacaville, the Lincoln Highway follows I-80, onto Main Street in Vacaville, through N. Texas and into Rockville Roads in Fairfield. This Adventure Lab will take you to ten locations along or near the Lincoln Highway. The locations may be visited in any order. Most are driveable, one area has 4 walkable stops all within 600 feet.

To learn more about the LINCOLN HIGHWAY, check out the website at www.lincolnhighwayassoc.org/map.

You can also visit another original route of the Lincoln Highway series in this area and some fun sudoku puzzles near GC88C9T.

NOTE: all areas have free parking AND there is VERY high traffic/muggle activity at certain stops during certain times of the days and one area on Friday evenings during summer months. A few locations are recommended to do during daylight due to minimal street lights and narrow country roads.  Cherry Glen stop is VERY highly recommended only during daylight.
