Welcome to winter at the parks! I imagine this cache will be easier in the winter than it was we placed it. I saw deer print skid marks in the mud going up the steep hill. We made the hide really easy to compensate. It's on the right side of the trail as you head up hill, but don't grab hold of the tree if you can help it. . . it is a tad prickery.
