Geocache Description:

Unlike some Olympic sports, there’s not much to explain when it comes to weightlifting.  Unlike all those things you can do with weights, there are only two competition lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk.  Both involve lifting weights from the ground to an overhead position—just like this cache does.

Olympic weightlifting is done as an individual, but this cache requires teamwork unless you’re a descendant of Robert Pershing Wadlow (the tallest person to live at 8’ 11.1”) or Dan Christison (whose arm span is 5” more than his height).  If your physiology is that of a “normal human,” you will need a partner to be able to sign the log.

And just like in life you shouldn’t throw your weight around, so gently replace the kettlebell where you found it.

Those of you who like to have T ≤ 3, coming from the parking waypoint continue on the blue trail to the top of a hil where on the left you should see a fallen tree with a bunch of logs on the left lying parallel to the trail.  These are blocking an old homestead road (see Homestead Road Trailhead).  Take that road until you are as close as you can get to the GZ then turn left and bushwhack about 900' to the GZ.  On the homestead road there is no need to go past the fallen, dilapidated house.
