This cache is named after the island in the road - Gnome Island.
Gnome Island was officially named in January 2015 after local people had began to place Gnomes on the roundabout and after a petition of 500 people the council agreed to name the island.
Unfortunatly most of the gnomes that were placed got stolen or broken by other locals, but recently more gnomes have appeared and stayed on the island and its actually quite nice to see them sitting there smiling as you drive past.
The cache is a micro and the area is very busy with muggles so you will need to pick your moment when finding the cache and replacing it.
Please look after any Geo kids, Pets, Unicorns and Giraffes when caching and please cache with safety and within local guidelines.
