A nice scenic viewpoint on the side of I-10 westbound. You will have to do a bit of a hike to get up to where the cache is hidden, but it isn't too bad. Unfortunately you can't see much of the town, but it still has nice views from up here. Van Horn is in need of more caches and this is the first of many we have planned for the area.
If you are heading East on I-10, there is a small turn around road right after the parking area on the westbound side. If you miss that you would need to go to the first Van Horn exit and turn head back. That is about 2 miles from the parking area.
If you are coming from Van Horn and need to return to town, or if you were heading East and turned around to get the cache, there is a turn around road almost exactly 2 miles West of the parking area to head back East.
