Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates though parking near there will be helpful.

The Spade Farm Bridge originally spanned Lewis Creek in North Ferrisburgh. It is an 86-foot long Town Lattice structure built by Justin Miller. A sign on the bridge claims it was built in 1824 though some historians believe that a build date around 1850 is more likely. When the bridge was tapped for dismantling, a local farmer named Sam Spade had it moved to his farm in 1958. It now serves as a pedestrian bridge spanning a drainage ditch just to the west of US Route 7 north of Ferrisburgh. The most recent maintenance activities appear to be that the bridge got a new roof and some floor repairs in 1998.

We were last to find the previous cache that TeamOhno hid in 2006. It was a great hide, so we're resurrecting this cache as a simple field-solvable puzzle.

To locate the cache, go to N 44 1A.BCD W 073 1E.FGH where the components can be determined as follows:

A. What's the last digit of the year that the bridge was probably not built?

B. You might have chosen to visit the Burlington Clothing Company for _______.
  (How many words?)

C. Perry Read & Co. would be a place to go to find _____________.
(How many words ignoring non-alphabetic things?)
Note: there are two Perry Read & Co. signs. If one makes you think of South
         American mountains, check the other.)

D. How many letters are in the last name of the Burlington Clothing Company's
   manager?

E. How many digits are in the Burlington Clothing Company's street address?

F. How many letters are shown for the person's name associated with the place for
buying keyboard items? Add 1 to that.

G. How many caches will these components help you find?

H. How many letters in the other name for this bridge?

The required information is available in the description, in or around the bridge or is pretty self-evident.

Congratulations to mwein for a post-b-day FTF!
