Another cache near the McCauley Warm Springs. As you walk around the area between the trail and the cache take a good look at the rocks around here. They didn’t get piled up like this by accident. Even the ancient ones knew a good place with a dependable water source. They even had enough sense (unlike some of today’s campers) to put their living quarters away from the water.
Bring your swimsuit and towel and enjoy a soak before returning to either Jemez Falls or Battleship Rock.
Update 6/22/10: In response to water problems noted in visitor logs, I've replaced the cache container.
