The American Robin is the most common bird that most everyone has learned to identify. It is commonly associated as the first sign of spring, although it can be obsurbed year round, even in Ohio. It is very common to see the American Robin hop walking on the ground in search of one on its most favorite food, an earthworm. It is also a common sight at backyard bird feeders. The American Robin is a common sight across North America, commonaly labeled as a town or city bird, but it is home in forests and wilderness areas. It is common to see an American Robin almost everywhere.
Did I describe this is a common Ohio bird? Of course I did!!! It is also the second most common official state bird. The states are Connecticut, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
