An unexpected place for a hill so beautiful. The south side was the correct way to enter once upon a time, but the greenery has changed a lot, and people who didn't read this first made new paths - so you're on your own. Enjoy! Oh, and this is an excellent opportunity to cache in, trash out. Bring a bag!
November 16, 2013 Update: The couch which used to be up on the hillside is gone. There are more trails up here than I knew about. The old cache was missing, so a new cache was placed. Set the cache name back to what it was when I found this cache back on January 10, 2004.
3/11/2009 Update: Since just about everyone comments on the status of the homeless guy's camp, I have decided to rename the cache in honor of this famous, if almost never home, dude. Perhaps people will decide to bring non-perishable food items and leave them by the side of the trail, and pick up any empties they find there.
9/7/2008 Update: Homeless people think this is a cool spot too, but they are out most of the time, from all reports, and the one reported encounter indicated a friendly, quiet homeless guy. Nothing to be concerned about, it seems. . WARNING: This hill is VERY slippery when it has been raining, so be prepared. Traction shoes recommended. Blackberries abound, so long sleeves are good too. Might want to bring a set of clippers in case it gets really bad. Cache is in a rubbermaid-type container (see picture). All of the original contents are long gone, but who really cares what they were anyway?
