All around the world there are mysterious radio stations that broadcast strange signals. Some are (seemingly) random numbers and letters, some are just beeps of various frequencies, some broadcast plain white noise. It is thought that they are used to communicate with the military, some think they send encoded messages to spies abroad. Nobody knows for sure. You can search YouTube for "Numbered stations" to find some strange and creepy examples.
