I'd noticed that there was a trig point on Brown Moor, but was never sure where it was or how to get to it. One day, I set about finding it.
There are two paths which lead almost to the top of the plantation; both can be pretty wet and boggy.One is from the south and a shorter one from the west. Then it's a case of heading into the undergrowth and seeing what you can find. The GPS signal will be weak as you near the trig and there isn't a great deal of light - a torch may be handy!
I've not added any waypoints to assist which will make it more of a challenge. The good news is that if you find the trig point, you should find the cache as they are next to each other. Don't forget to make a mental note of how you got to the trig point as getting out of the wood isn't that easy!
