Geocache Description:

Welcome to Berryhill Rd.  One of the steepest streets in Pittsburgh at a 28% grade.  The road was formerly showcased at Pittsburgh's Annual “Dirty Dozen” race 1983-2015 in which cyclists tackled the steepest and toughest roads during the ride.  Berryhill Rd was removed in 2016 to make the 60-mile course safer for the cyclists.

Which road is the steepest in Pittsburgh?  Answer: Canton Ave. in Beechview (37% grade) that reins as the steepest road in the Continental US.  It is only a 22 minute ride from here.  Check it out.

*There is space on the shoulder of the road that is very near the cache.  Park N Go.

*road is closed during winter months.  If so, you can park at the bottom (on Saxonburg Blvd) and walk up approximately 50 yards to the cache.
