Geocache Description:

Congrat's to Mysticquest for FTF! (Early Bird got the Worm) krazy town...just saying!

(BYOP) Please make sure lid is secured before returning it to it's hidey space.

This Tri Town Trail here in Ledyard off of 117 (Colonel Ledyard Hwy) is turning out to be a very welcomed event for me....another place to walk, hike, and cache.

On the way to this hide you'll pass a spot with a wrought iron bench, trail info & newly built walking bridge that goes over a briskly running stream... at least right now anyway. You'll pass another wrought iron bench before arriving at GZ.  Once over the footbridge there is a sign that says "more difficult". Not sure how long the difficult part lasts but it's not for the length of the trail if I'm reading the trail map correctly. I'll let you know more when I hide more!

I didn't go much farther than where I hid this CC but I'll be back to do more exploring! Come out and enjoy this place. You won't be sorry!

I was lucky enough to see Bob Seger on 09/29/1980 at the Hartford Civic Center. Folks, the show was awesome...that's why I remember the date! He was in his prime and that's just something you can't forget! ;)

Well....it's time to "TURN THE PAGE" on this krazy year we called 2020! Good riddance, sayonara, bye bye, don't let the door hit you in the arse...just saying! Hardest, longest, worse year of my life. Looking forward to 2021 and hopefully some sense of normalcy is waiting for us just around the bend! It's been a long road folks! Hang in there and Happy New Year!

On a long and lonesome highway,  East of Omaha

You can listen to the engine, moanin' out this one note song

You can think about the woman, or the girl you knew the night before

But your thoughts will soon be wandering, the way they always do

When you're ridin' sixteen hours and there's nothin' much to do

And you don't feel much like ridin' You just wish the trip was through

Here I am, on the road again

There I am, up on a stage

Here I go, playin' star again

There I go, turn the page

Well you walk into a restaurant, strung out from the road

And you feel the eyes upon you, as you're shakin' off the cold

You pretend it doesn't bother you, but you just want to explode

Most times you can't hear 'em talk, other times you can

All the same the same old cliches, "is that a woman or a man?"

And you always seem outnumbered, you don't dare make a stand

Here I am, on the road again

There I am, up on the stage

Here I go, playin' star again

There I go, turn the page

Out there in the spotlight you're a million miles away

Every ounce of energy, you try to give away

As  the sweat pours out your body, like the music that you play

Later in the evening, as you lie awake in bed

With the echoes from the amplifiers ringin' in your head

You smoke the day's last cigarette, rememberin' what she said

Here I am, on the road again

Here I am, up on the stage

Here I go, playin' star again

There I go, turn the page

Well, here I am, on the road again

Here I am, up on a stage

Here I go, playin' star again

There I go, there I goooooooooooooooo

Bob Seger
