At this time of year it's customary to get together with friends, celebrate the year's achievements and exchange greetings for the festive season.
We've held this event for the last 4 years at the Albany Creek Tavern and always had a good attendance. Due to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, it's a little different this year and must be held outdoors, but after a hiatus of 3 months without events we remain thankful to be able to hold them once again.

Social interactions have changed (as if you hadn't noticed), and we need to be COVID safe (Qld COVID Safe Events info can be found here) . To make this easier, here are the clear expectations of all parties. They are common sense and easy to follow, you probably do these things already every day.
We want this to be a fun, social and engaging event while still being COVID compliant, so if you disagree with or do not intend to follow these simple expectations, perhaps refrain from attending.
Organiser Responsibilities:
- Choose an appropriate venue
- Provide hand sanitiser and access to handwashing
- Post clear expectations
Attendee Expectations:
- Stay at home if you are unwell
- Keep a social distance from those not from your household
- Maintain good hand hygiene
All are welcome, feel free to wear your favourite Xmas outfit. To be COVID compliant we will not be supplying food or drinks, please BYO. Trackables and shiny round swap items are welcome, we encourage you to keep in mind hand hygiene.
