The Fox Cities Paper Trail is an approximately 50 mile circular route connecting 11 communities and 20 parks, in the Fox Cities. It is an ongoing project by Fox Cities Greenways. The purpose of the Paper Trail is to link parks in the area to create an “emerald necklace” of our special green spaces, circle the Fox Cities and provide communities with a frame in which to construct and link trails. It also provides a unique recreational opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy.
The intention of the hides along the FCPT is for the geocacher to enjoy a quick grab and go (in most locations) while also enjoying the wildlife and beauty that the area has to offer. Whether you are on foot or wheels, there will be plenty take in. Make sure to bring your own writing utensil, as many of these containers are just large enough to hold the log sheet.
You are now in the midst of the Menasha Conservancy. If you have a little time here, take it, to enjoy the sights and sounds that nature has to provide. You can also find some awesome classic hides out here in the wet woodlands. So, take a step off from the boardwalk if you wish. Go exploring in the conservancy.
