The Fox Cities Paper Trail is an approximately 50 mile circular route connecting 11 communities and 20 parks, in the Fox Cities. It is an ongoing project by Fox Cities Greenways. The purpose of the Paper Trail is to link parks in the area to create an “emerald necklace” of our special green spaces, circle the Fox Cities and provide communities with a frame in which to construct and link trails. It also provides a unique recreational opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy.
The intention of the hides along the FCPT is for the geocacher to enjoy a quick grab and go (in most locations) while also enjoying the wildlife and beauty that the area has to offer. Whether you are on foot or wheels, there will be plenty take in. Make sure to bring your own writing utensil, as many of these containers are just large enough to hold the log sheet.
A nice quiet park nestled in the City of Menasha, Barker Farms Park would make a nice stop on your trek along the FCPT. There once was a different cache located here that has been archived. This has opened up a nice location along this hiking and biking trail, but please use your caching stealth when searching here in the busy season. There will certainly be many muggles nearby.
