How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Locate the point where Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico meet.

Stand in three states at once! To do this, find this tri-state marker located at the exact point where Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico meet.

In order to successfully claim this cache, take a picture of you and your team with your GPS at the tri-state marker and upload it to your log entry.

If you don't have a camera, you can verify that you have visited this cache by going to the Kidder Astronomical Station, about 200 yards to the WNW at N 36° 30' W 103°, and recording the year that it was set. Send me the answer to or via the Geocaching messaging system (See this log entry by TuristaJ for example). Thank you to texas_panhandler for sending me a picture of this marker (I edited the picture to cut out the year).
