Welcome to Walbridge Park. This is one of the most scenic parks in the City of Toledo Park system. This particular spot is a scenic overlook of the Maumee river. It is stated as being the widest vista overlooking the Maumee River between Fort Wayne and Lake Erie. This is too good of a location not to have a geocache.
If you found the previous cache at this location (archived about 4 years ago) then you may have an advantage as this cache is hidden about 6 inches from where that one was placed. If you did not find that one, or do not remember it, then here is some helpful hints. You do not need to leave the boardwalk/observation deck to locate the cache. Actually, getting as close to it as possible will be helpful.
As with all City of Toledo parks, caching is limited to daylight hours. Trust me, you would not want to try to find this one in the dark or in bad weather. Besides, you would then miss the spectacular view.
There are a couple of parking lots in this park and you can park along most of Broadway (see parking signs for information).
