The quarter of a mile from here North along East Shore Drive is perhaps the most densely populated area of the AHET. The difficulty rating takes into account both the hide and the need for stealth. Some of the neighbors and passersby might know exactly what you are doing. Others will not.
Who is a true muggle? Who is muggle imposter? Who is a fellow geocacher? How do you tell the difference? You can always try the Timpat approach of donning a safety vest and carrying a clipboard. Or my tried and true method of wearing a fluorescent T-shirt that has "VOLUNTEER" plastered on the back in two inch letters.
I am not sure if this hide will prove to be Winter-friendly. I will have to re-evaluate after the snow falls. Please sign and replace carefully.
