Boughton village hall is a Grade II listed building, achieving the status on 2 June 1977.
It was initially built as the village school, laterly becoming the churhc hall and now being used as the village hall. The building was built for W.J & S.M Pickin in the Gothic Revival style.
The building is an unusual shape which can be explained by its original use as a school and presumably having different entrances for boys and girls.
