Kamniška Bistrica je najbolj urbanizirana reka v Sloveniji in s svojim sistemom mlinščic predstavlja zeleno os regije s pomembno ekološko in rekreacijsko funkcijo. Gre za območje reke od njenega izvira v kamniških planinah, njenega toka po Kamniško bistriški ravnini skozi Kamnik, Domžale in Dol pri Ljubljani, do sotočja treh rek: Save, Kamniške Bistrice in Ljubljanice.
Sprehod ob reki vas bo popeljal na naslednje lokacije:
- Keršmančev park
- Plečnikov most
- Usnjarski most
- Titanova brv in
- Stara Titanova elektrarna.

Kamniška Bistrica is the most urbanized river in Slovenia and with its system of mills it represents the green axis of the region with an important ecological and recreational function. It is the area of the river from its source in the Kamnik mountains, its flow along the Kamnik Bistrica plain through Kamnik, Domžale and Dol near Ljubljana, to the confluence of three rivers: the Sava, Kamniška Bistrica and Ljubljanica.
A walk along the river will take you to the following locations:
• Keršmančev park
• Plečnik bridge
• Leather bridge
• Titan footbridge and
• Old Titan power plant.
