This is a log only cache with a bonus for the first visitor. There is a Travel Bug at this location. This cache is located along the Green River and is only accessible by boat. A steep climb is also required but well worth the effort.
This cache is a log only cache located along the Green River. As stated, there is a Travel Bug available to the first cacher to arrive. This cache is accessible by boat only and requires a brisk climb up a steep ridge. While it is a climb made by many a river runner, it is not for the faint at heart. I began my trip at the State Park in Green River and took out at Mineral Bottom. The trip was madein three days, but is better when taken 4-5 days. There are a few places that are worth spending some time out of the boat. Trin Alcove has three canyons that converge together that just beg to be explored. We explored the middle canyon and found several pools to swim in that were perfect on a hot day. Feel free to e-mail me for more information about the trip if you are interested.
