Final Approach ILS 26R LAS Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

HTBob: Well, unfortunately the wheels of progress did not ask me if it was ok to bury my letterbox and build something else there, so I have no other option than to archive this one. My geo maintenance team member has confirmed the sad news here. Thanks to all who visited this cache and special thanks to those that left it a favorite point.

Geocache Description:

While out enjoying the Whitney Mesa hiking trail, we noticed that there were several large jets passing directly overhead, so I opened my aviation app and noticed that we were (at ground level of course) directly in the final approach course of the primary instrument appoach course for McCarren, Las Vegas International airport shown here: >

The cache includes an appropriate themed letterbox stamp that is part of the Hybrid Letterbox style cache and must remain in the container. Please do not take the stamp or stamp pad as a trade item. The container is hidden in a typical desert style, Please rehide to minimize muggle activity. As is the case, you must sign the physical log before claiming it as a find, however stamping the log is not required. Unsigned logs will be deleted. The container is large enough for trackables and normal trade items.
