The Puzzle

Step 1 - Solve the puzzle

Puzzle note: You should get a 26x10 grid when you click on the link. If you get a 10x10 grid or an error about JavaScript then read below in the owner logs.  Make sure if you Restart that you have the same grid you started with originally. Clicking "New Game" may give you a new grid with new positions, which won't add up!

Step 2 - Add up the numbers in each column as A...Z.  Ignore empty spaces.

Step 3 - Solve the formula below

    South 42 (B+E+F) . ( ( (C+D) * (J+K) ) + L - N + O)

    East 147 (R+S-T) . ( (H/ (I-7) ) * (U+V+W+X+Y+Z) )
