This cache is in small walking distance from the point of parking with several nice water falls and easy to locate
this is our first cache and also the first cache of the canton of Neuchatel.
Nicely positioned in the Gorges de l'Areuse which offer several possibilities to hike, relax and pic-nic.
We offer you 2 different ways to find the cache one on a 20 min walk, the other one with an approx. 1h30 walking time.
20 min walk : start from "Champs du moulin" you can reache this place by train from Neuchatel or by car via Colombier Bole Rochefort, in Rochefort turn left towards Fleurier, Champs du moulin is on the left a couple of distance from Rochefort.
In Champs du Moulin a small but free parking is available.
from there you can follow the river down in direction to Boudry.
1h30 walk : from Boudry free parking at N 46°57,5400 E 6°49,7442 and walk towards Champs du moulin - Fleurier. this walk is a bit harder but so nice water falls are around.
the cache is at N 46°57,6762 E 6°46,9830 (many trees but good GPS reception)
it is a tupperware rubbed in a white plastic bag, no need to dig.
Once the cache is found you may want to see the Verriere Falls at N 46°57,7775 E 6°47,0562 nice place to pic-nic
