The terrain is easy but beware of cars and muggles. The cache is about 2 feet off the ground and placed so that a nearby tree offers some stealth. This should be a quick cache and dash.
Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.
A new sign brought about a new cache. Cache was originally placed by RoxLovesNavy on 07/23/2011 and co-FTF were TomLovesBacon and Wizardofmd69 (archived GC30QP7, Welcome to Rogers Forge). A statement from the original description is as follows: "This was my son's project and our family loves our military!"
NRHD is short for National Register Historic District.
Below is copied from National Register Properties in Maryland:
"The Rodgers Forge Historic District is an approximately 150-acre, primarily rowhouse, early suburban community developed by the large-scale Baltimore building developer James Keelty and his sons between 1931 and 1957."
"The Rodgers Forge Historic District is architecturally significant as a prototypical example of a type of suburban rowhouse development which characterized the region during the late 1920s through the mid-1950s, and is especially noteworthy for the quality of its planning, architecture, and construction."
