W listopadzie 2020 w mediach gruchnęła wiadomość - budują osiedle dla katolików. I będąc akurat w delegacji, wcale nie zdziwiła mnie wiadomość, że to będzie w Łomiankach. No bo to jest dziwne miejsce. Kiedyś mieszkali tu Żydzi i ewangelicy razem z katolikami, a teraz szukają tu enklawy katolicy w katolickim kraju?
Osiedle domków jednorodzinnych, głównie o charakterze zabudowy bliźniaczej, w I etapie składać się będzie z 32 budynków. Osobliwością osiedla jest planowana kapliczka, piec chlebowy i Oratorium - miejsce wyciszenia i modlitwy. Każdy z budynków posiada swojego patrona: św. Bernard, św. Jan Paweł II, św. matka Teresa itd. I każdy budynek jest z różańcem lub świętym medalikiem wmurowanym w fundament.
Niefortunna może być tylko nazwa Przystań na terenie tuż za wałem przeciwpowodziowym na terenie zalewowym. Ale wiara ponoć czyni cuda.

The estate of single-family houses, mainly semi-detached houses, will consist of 32 buildings in the first stage. The peculiarity of the estate is the planned chapel, bread oven and the Oratory - a place of silence and pray. Each of the buildings has its saint patron: St. Bernard, St. John Paul II, St. mother Teresa, etc. And each building has a rosary or a holy medal embedded in the foundation.
